Okay, lets talk swimwear.
Probably not everyone's favorite thing to shop for themselves for but its vacation season and summer is coming fast (I hope!). Below are some of my favorite places to shop for myself and for Amelia and I have even includes some pictures and mommy & meelz styles! You will see below some styles I own and ones I love, especially anything high waisted.
J.Crew - Always my go to place for swim, even post baby. I normally size up in swim but never at J.Crew. I feel they run true to size and can make any momma feel cute! I love this one so much. This suit below was one of my favorite that I owned and they brought it back again this year.
Albion fit- You may have never heard of these guys but trust me their swim is INCREDIBLE. The cost is a little bit higher but the quality is amazing. Some of their suits even work for maternity! I first bought one of their suits in 2015 and still wear it to this day. They even have adorable kids options. Trust me when I tell you to check out this brand.
Old Navy - Another place I always swear by for swim. Price is great, quality is great and they always have the cutest styles. Check out this one for $42. The year I was pregnant with Amelia i just sized up one in a few of their suits and wore them until I was 39 weeks pregnant as well.
Rufflebutts - I remember being pregnant in Marco Island on vacation and seeing a little girl in a monogrammed polka dotted long sleeve swim suit and basically ran to the mom to find out where she got it. It was then I fell in love with ruffle butts. Their swim is SO cute, they have long sleeve, short sleeve, no sleeves and boy options (Rugged butts). I also love their swim hats for the girls! Here is also a link for $10 off your first purchase.
Lilly Pulitzer - Just look at these swim suits, like how cute. Amelia was so sweet in hers last year that she wore on her birthday when we took her to the beach.
Gap - I absolutely love their swim for boys and girls. One of Amelia's that came from here last year is still my favorite.
For boys, you can always check out Vineyard Vines as well!
While the swim is important, there are some other things you will also need for bringing that baby in the sun. I swear by this beach hat. I also had this last year for Amelia to throw on top of any swim that was not long sleeve and it worked out perfect. And do not forget the sunscreen! Check out this sunscreen and use code AshleyScribi15 for 15% off.
Now where is everyone headed to?
